Welcome to the new Bogstown.com website. Please note there have been some major improvements to the site and much of the orginal data and pages are still being transfered from the old site which will close down in December. The major change is the members Blog and ability to publish and archive newsletters along with comments.

Currently we are hosting two (2) Laird family trees The Bogstown Laird tree and The Elagh Laird tree, despite the extensive size of these two trees at this stage no blood connection between the two Laird families has been found. Both Laird families attended Burt Presbyterian Church (Co Donegal) and then later Ballyarnett Presbyterian Church (Co Londondery) when it opened in 1848.
NOTE: After Login to access the family tree area please goto “Genealogy” under Laird in the left side menu. The search feature (top right) on the main site only looks thru the newsletter archive, name lookups etc are still a function of the tree area.
We can host mutiple Londonderry/Donegal Laird family trees if needed and to this end Bogstown.com is available as a free public service to all Ulster Laird family descendants worldwide. Please contact me if you are interested in administration rights to host and editing your Laird Family tree on this site.
